I finally have a new work in progress. A new girl in my Tattoo Girl series. The plan is to have a bird of paradise on her arm. She will have pink hair and outfit with turquoise background...at least that's the plan at this point.
Hi. Just stumbled onto your blog via someone else's. Have you heard of Professor Jelinek and his book Overcoming multiple sclerosis? If not, may i suggest you take a read of it. As part of managing your MS, i don't know if you tried to change your diet significantly. I could write more, but my main message is - please find and read that book.
Oh, yes indeed I have changed my diet significantly. I am basically a 85-90% raw/vegan with no dairy, sugar, limited cooked food. I try to stay away from any sort of processed food at all. So yeah, pretty significant change. :)
I am not sure if I am familiar with the book or not, I was diagnosed in 2000 and have done a variety of things, I will have to google and see if it looks familiar.
I certainly don't have all the answers, but as of right now I don't know how much more I am willing to 'give up' food wise, I'm still a fat girl and food addict, so giving up anymore food groups just may not be feasible. haha
Do you have M.S.? Did the book's principles help you a lot? It's always interesting to hear other people's M.S. stories.
Forgot to mention I take Vit D huge dose as I was really low and my neuro is up on that sort of think impacting Multiple Sclerosis. And then omega 3 sup as well. Fish fats are good and I don't eat meat so fish is not going to end up on my plate on a regular basis.
