Well, the heat is on folks!

And yes I mean the weather. We were all wearing hoodies and sweaters on July 4th for the fireworks and now it's 80 degrees. My tomato plant says YAY, but my body says NAY! ;)

I got through 14 of the 30 days of June and am still considering it in the Win category.

I decided to try a 30 Faces challenge in June. Here is Face #1. :) As of right now I am super excited, I just need to keep going even when it's three weeks into the challenge.

One of my fat girls was added to a treasury over on Etsy about the 'Obesity Issue'. I'm not thrilled. It goes against everything my art is about. I've already ranted to friends and family, and still feel like ranting a bit more.

I think my ladies are pretty, and so I guess it's hard for me to know that people want to use them to highlight their activism when it is exactly opposite of what my intentions are. It feels like we get enough fat hate every where, all day, every day. :-\

Edited: The creator of the treasury was very understanding and removed my girl from the list. Which I appreciate.

Finally new WIP

I finally have a new work in progress. A new girl in my Tattoo Girl series. The plan is to have a bird of paradise on her arm. She will have pink hair and outfit with turquoise background...at least that's the plan at this point.

I'm in my new house! :)

Well all the procrastinating ended, I packed my house and moved, and am now safely tucked away into my tiny new house! :)

I am back painting again, and will put up a WIP tomorrow.
