Still Procrastinating...here have a card set.

Set of 5 Blank Gift Cards, check them out!

Yep still procrastinating on packing the house as the days tick by. I keep telling myself I have plenty of time. I only sort of believe it! :-\

In the meantime I've listed three more blank gift cards sets on Etsy. A set of 'nudes', 'girls with cats', and 'bathing beauties' take a look!

December! WAAAAA!

Set of 5 Blank Mermaid Gift Cards.

Ok, I can't believe it's December already. The year has flown and I've not managed to do much more than fight with Multiple Sclerosis (jury is still out on whether I won or not). ;)

I am moving at the end of the month to a new house. It's a cute tiny 450sq ft, on a little bit of land. I will be able to have some tomato plants this summer, Yay. And it has no stairs so I won't be trapped in the house as I am right now. With my legs being sort of more for decoration maneuvering the stairs in my house now is impossible without assistance (or on my rear end).

Basically I am procrastinating all the packing I have to do by creating new items for Lady at Large on Etsy.

I've put up a set of blank gift cards with mermaid prints on them. I plan on adding other sets this week and will list them here as I do.

Click on the picture or the title below the picture to go to the listing. Have a great week out there!

Hope all of my American friends had a great Thanksgiving! Can you believe we are into Christmas preparation time already. Where has 2011 flown?

Here is new bookmark I have listed on Etsy. She is backed with some cute decorative paper, and then laminated to protect her. Click on her picture to go to her listing.

Creating again! :)

My hand has gotten some strength and feeling back and I have been able to create a couple of new ladies. One is Roxy the first in my new series of Tattooed Girls, she is a 6x9 watercolor painting. Click on her picture to go to Etsy where she is listed.

I am so glad I have gotten back enough strength to hold a pen and paintbrush. I hope to have more art up again soon.

Multiple Sclerosis...

I have been dealing with some pretty serious health problems since April, which are still sticking with me.

I have Multiple sclerosis which is an auto immune disease where my immune system destroys the protective coating on the nerves in my brain and spinal cord causing inflammation on the nerves damaging them and stopping the information from getting from the brain to tell the body what it's supposed to do.

Right now, I'm unable to use my left hand because it doesn't act like a real hand instead it just does whatever it wants, the bad thing about that is that I am left handed and creating any of my ladies is impossible.

I have had four different courses of Solumedrol i.v. treatments, just finished my fourth yesterday. I am hoping that I will gain use of my hand back. Until then I will still be selling prints on my etsy store. I will keep you posted when I have new ladies to show.

Of course it's not all bad I've gotten pretty darned good at doing things one handed (I'm just not going to tell how long it took me to type this post. heh)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well, 2010 is gone and we are staring 2011 squarely in the face. A brand new year, all blemish free and ready to explore.

I have stopped making resolutions as such, since they can become ways to beat myself up for perceived inadequacies as the year progresses. We get the idea that unless we are a certain way we aren't worthy enough for good things. So this year instead of making a resolution to CHANGE something about myself, I am going to resolve to emphasize my good bits and let the other stuff go!

So Happy New Year, and you're fabulous just as you are!
